The SCAR Unit provides private office, strategy and governance functions across both groups. It is a high performing, friendly, collaborative, and supportive team. There is a consistent focus on diversity, inclusion and development.

In this role, you will work with a wide range of stakeholders in DBT, including policy, legal and analytical teams across our two DG Groups, often at SCS-level.   • Responsible for identifying strategic challenges facing the programme, ensuring they are proactively addressed by the relevant Governance fora or leading on advice to escalate where necessary;
  • Line management of one HEO, providing guidance and oversight of their activity.
