Key Responsibilities:

This is an exciting new role at Justice Digital. Reporting to the Chief of Staff and working closely with the Chief Digital & Information Officer (CDIO), you will support the Ministry of Justice to deliver its 2025 Digital Strategy. This is a varied and challenging role that requires a deep understanding of our strategy and the ability to work with colleagues at all levels and engage them in our work.

You will be responsible for spreading the message of our strategy to three primary audiences: external and cross-government, colleagues across the Ministry of Justice and to our Justice Digital teams. You will maintain the momentum of recent innovation activities by planning a future series of events that build on the success of previous campaigns.

Your responsibilities will include:

For our Justice Digital Teams:

●    Planning and executing a series of nationwide, strategy related events.
●    Create a series of visual assets that help tell the story of our strategy.
●    Work closely with colleagues in our Engagement Team on the coordination of events, social media and blog posts.
●    Engage new starters on the strategy, by making them ambassadors for our Justice Digital mission by owning, delivering and iterating specific events for that cohort.
●    Creating a consistent leadership voice amongst the SLT, including the CDIO, by shaping the external engagement and strategy related content;
●    Lead on the regular town hall, all staff, and ad-hoc strategy events, including designing content which reflects the timeline of our strategy.

Across the Ministry of Justice:

●    The end-to-end management of large, cross-MoJ campaigns.
●    Build relationships with MoJ leadership teams, securing their support for Justice Digital’s strategic objectives, including supporting the wider programme for digital transformation across the department.
●    Facilitate workshops and working groups with colleagues across the Ministry, to better understand their user needs and how we can better demonstrate our value.

With external partners:

●    Working with senior leaders to prepare for their external speaking events and engagements.
●    Engage with our suppliers to get the most value out of our engagements with them, for example, by working with them on talks and workshops for the MoJ.
●    Working with external conference providers to influence the calendar of government events so we are better able to spread our message.

If this feels like an exciting challenge, something you are enthusiastic about, and want to join our team please read on and apply!

Benefits

●    25 days leave (plus bank holidays) and 1 privilege day usually taken around the Kings’ birthday. 5 additional days of leave once you have reached 5 years of service.
●    Compassionate maternity, adoption, and shared parental leave policies, with up to 26 weeks leave at full pay, 13 weeks with partial pay, and 13 weeks further leave. And maternity support/paternity leave at full pay for 2 weeks, too!
●    Wellbeing support including access to the Calm app.
