As the Service Continuity Manager, you will be accountable for defining, maintaining and communicating the IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) policies and procedures.

Job description

In this role you will:

  • Define, maintaining and communicating the IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) policies and procedures.
  • Produce the ITSCM strategy, working with key stakeholders and suppliers to ensure a joined-up and accepted strategy that meets business expectations.
  • Provide guidance to service providers in fulfilling their ITSCM roles and responsibilities, ensuring they deliver the strategy and are tested for efficacy.
  • Ensure end-to-end SLAs to business are met, as it relates to service continuity and disaster recovery planning.
  • Co-ordinate any proposed improvement activities that span multiple service providers to ensure solutions and plans remain joined-up.
  • Work closely with architecture, projects and suppliers to ensure that solutions (particularly new ones) make appropriate provision for continuity obligations.

Person specification

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience of incident management
  • Defining policies for disaster recover
  • Define scope of IT responsibilities
  • Define scope of business impact of each risk
  • Plans and processes for each risk scenario
  • Personnel and documentation requirements
