Senior Quantity Surveyor

£56,430 - £66,963 plus £5,000 London allowance and excellent benefits
Based in London with regular travel overseas

Bring your expertise to all corners of the globe

As a senior professional within the quantity surveying team you will be responsible for providing high-quality cost management and contract administration advice. The projects will range in value from £250k to £100m and utilise the NEC suite of contracts. It’s a role where no two days are ever same and where you will be regularly presented with unique and challenging situations to develop your skills. Based in London and typically working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will also be required at times to travel alone to another part of the world working autonomously and making key decisions on your own initiative.

Throughout, you’ll be doing everything you can to solve problems, capture and define customer objectives, and ensure each project meets its end objectives.

Take your quantity surveying skills to the next level

We’re looking for a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS or FRICS) with significant post-qualification experience and a proven track record of leading on cost management for design and construction teams. Strong communication and people skills are important, as you’ll be engaging regularly with customers, stakeholders and end users as well as other professionals within your team. You’ll also need some experience of design software including AutoCAD and REVIT.

Person specification

Essential

• Degree in Quantity Surveying; Chartered Quantity Surveyor 
(MRICS)
• Substantial QS experience including large and complex 
projects including provision of cost management services for all 
stages of a project
• Knowledge of standard forms of construction contract 
• Current technical and Health & Safety legislation knowledge
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
