As part of the team delivering the Cladding Safety Scheme, you will play a crucial role in supporting applicants to progress their funding applications to fix unsafe cladding on 11m+ blocks of flats. Job description

Working in the Commercial team alongside other Officers and Senior Managers you will support the commercial delivery of the programme by providing first class support to suppliers. You will build your knowledge of systems and process quickly in order to provide quality advice and help bring buildings which have a cladding safety issue into the scheme at pace. You will use data to target applicants who are not progressing their remediation projects in line with expected timeframes, working with our suppliers to assist with un-blocking any issues & gathering in intelligence to enable escalation when needed.

As well as building relationships within the Commercial and wider CSS team you will liaise closely with our Service Administrator as well as our other suppliers who deliver the services in order to produce the best outcomes for leaseholder residents.

Person specification

Utilising your commitment to deliver excellent customer service, you will manage a number of our commercial suppliers, reviewing monthly MI, leading contract review meetings and supporting the team dealing with a variety of queries from our suppliers around more complex remediation projects, providing support to keep things on track.

You are happy working in a role where the tasks vary and where pace is critical to our success. You will have a good eye for detail, building a good understanding of when to escalate.

As an experienced commercial professional, you’ll understand how to manage suppliers and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.

You will enjoy interacting with third parties, attending monthly contract review meetings, gathering, and reviewing important data to feedback in order to help us manage our programme and funding.  You will enjoy working in an innovative and engaging way, using your people skills to negotiate and persuade, where appropriate.

You will have a positive outlook, enjoy learning, and want to help Applicants to the Cladding Safety Scheme get their buildings fixed for the benefit of their residents.

You will be comfortable using a range of IT systems, able to pick up the how through basic training and self-reference to user guides. You will be confident in using Microsoft tools such as Outlook and Excel to maximise your productivity.
