Job summary

Working as part of a new team responsible for the Single Pipeline, the Senior Manager (Business Process) - Pipeline Management will play a critical role in the set-up, operation and management of our pipeline of future activity. 

We are dedicated to delivering a first-class customer service, continuously improving the people, process and technology aspects of what we do. This role is specifically focused on the business process aspects of the service.

This is a rare chance to shape one of the ways of working of a fast growing, national organisation with real social purpose. Working with key stakeholders across the agency, you will be committed to a user-led, operationally focused approach.

The role will support the ongoing design and operation of the business processes that support us having an up-to-date and comprehensive view of the short and longer term pipeline of activity that will allow us to deliver projects that support policy priorities. This is an excellent opportunity to enable day-to-day delivery through a new way of working.

Job description

Our day job is to deliver first class customer service, whilst always be looking for ways to improve and innovate.

You'll be comfortable leading on the business process considerations that will affect design and operation. You will be excellent at user and stakeholder engagement.

Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn’t always easy. You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as a service team that enables delivery. 

As an experienced business process professional, you’ll understand how to manage colleagues and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.

Key skills, knowledge and experience

Essential:

  • Degree level relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in working as part of multi-disciplinary teams, involving the delivery of improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrable engagement skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to take an analytical and structured approach to tasks and activities.
