We are recruiting for the role of Senior HR Projects Officer and this role is a fixed term contract up until 31.07.25
This is a national role and therefore office location is flexible. As a HR/OD team we work predominantly remotely, however this role will have a required element of travel to various offices dependant on business and project needs.

The Senior HR Officer will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery and growth of our HR strategy and organizational development initiatives. This position will manage a portfolio and policy area within the People and Culture arm of the HR Organisational Development Team, with a specific focus on onboarding/induction and reward & recognition.
The role is responsible for scoping, planning, and taking a project approach to deliver; the running of work groups with senior stakeholders, policy leads and specialists to shape, and delivery the scope and requirements of the Project in a matrix structure inline with the overall delivery plan.
Whilst also playing a crucial role in leading and managing various HR projects you will be providing line management and support to HR Project Assistants/Officers. This position will involve overseeing of their daily work, identifying their training and development needs, and ensuring the successful delivery of HR initiatives.

- Confident in using a range of core IT applications such as MS Office to support effective workforce planning and performance management
- Develop and deliver training and workforce development across the organisation, at management, team and individual level as required.
- Subject matter expert and policy owner for portfolio / policy area providing expert advice and support to CMT, People Board as required, including drafting of Board Papers.
- Responsive to the needs of HR customers and able to identify opportunities for service innovation and improvement
- Ability to plan, co-ordinate and execute projects achieving measurable impact
- Credibility and influencing ability with stakeholders at all levels
- Leadership or line management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals and deliver results.
