The cost management team is a new team which will develop over the coming years. It baselines best practice in areas such as cost & schedule estimating, uncertainty / risk modelling and cost analysis. The team reviews the application of cost management as part of ORR’s holding to account activity.Job description
The ORR is developing a team to understand and monitor cost management practices in Network Rail and other infrastructure managers. This will cover cost / schedule estimating, modelling, and driver / trend analysis with a particular focus on the treatment of uncertainty and risk. The role will feed into the planning round process and complements our regulatory finance, engineering, capital investments and data analyst teams by adding specialist insights developed from cost management reviews of Network Rail.Person specification
