Working Pattern: Full time. The role will be based in 102 Petty France, Westminster. We currently attend the office for a minimum of two days a week and you may be asked to attend for additional days when required.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our fast-paced and ambitious social media team, taking a leading role in crafting stories for a large audience on key government announcements, nationally historic moments, and authentic case studies.

You will be responsible for our team’s end-to-end creative production and line managing two content creators. You will be responsible for a tightly packed production schedule, building and developing on creative briefs and commissions, self-shooting, editing and designing high-quality creative products, maintaining high creative standards, equipment and software budgets, and undertaking regular evaluation of team workflow and content performance.

You relish getting to the heart of a story and delivering fast-paced social media ideas and solutions for an assortment of diverse creative briefs. Occasionally you may need to travel to different locations and work non-standard office hours.

Your main responsibilities will include: 

  • Manage the production process across all channels from start to finish.
  • Manage a team of two content creators: planning, scheduling, coordinating a combination of fast-turnaround short-form video, design and photo products and longer-lead documentary projects to deadline and budget.
  • Manage the content team’s workflow, capacity, equipment budget and storage, and creative software needs, in partnership with the Head of Content.
  • Develop and scope out creative briefs and commissions from the wider team, building strong relationships and an energising creative culture.
  • Develop your own original content ideas and series formats for our social media channels.
  • Undertake regular evaluation of the team’s workflow and content performance.
  • Make technical and creative recommendations and confidently pitch and present ideas to a variety of stakeholders, incorporating client feedback and pushing back where necessary.
  • Line manage two content creators.
  • Manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Shoot and edit dynamic videos, including interviews, pieces to camera, documentary, and promotional videos for campaigns and events.
  • Direct talent including senior leaders, ministers, stakeholders and VIP guests with confidence and clear creative vision.
  • Design excellent graphic design products with a clear understanding of attention-grabbing colour, type and composition.
  • Shoot and edit photography including portraits, groups, presentations and large events.

 Essential experience and personal skills:

  • Extensive industry experience in content production management and hands-on creative roles.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in team leadership, presenting and pitching ideas, on-set direction, and responding to feedback.
  • Excellent, proven knowledge in video production, with a thorough understanding of shooting schedules, team management, budgets, and timeframes.
  • Excellent knowledge of design, photography, and creative trends.
  • Proficient in using DSLRs to shoot excellent video (Sony experience preferred), as well as lighting and sound.
  • Creative flair, originality, and the confidence to challenge where you feel innovation or improvements are needed.
  • Extensive knowledge of social media content and trends.
  • Excellent video editing skills with experience of using creative software including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Highly positive and professional attitude.
