​​The Information, Facilities and Service Development (IFSD) team supports ORR achieve its strategic objectives by ensuring it has first class IS Services, Information is managed effectively and property portfolio is suitable for the work of ORR colleagues.​

Job description

​ORR is required to meet the minimum-security standards as mandated by Cabinet Office. This post will lead on managing security across ORR particularly enhancing and improving ORR’s security stance. This to include Cyber security, physical security at offices, personnel management, incident management and policy development. A central part of this will also be the provision of assurance to Cabinet office regarding ORR’s compliance with the standards through formal gathering of evidence and compiling returns.  

​ The role will also involve managing internal and external stakeholders regarding any changes so that ORR’s security culture and stance is enhanced in the light of a rapidly changing threat landscape. Overall, this post will plan short-, medium- and long-term changes progressively to ensure that ORR is able to meet the Cabinet Office 2030 Cyber security strategy and Cabinet Office minimum standards as well as being able to react to immediate threats to protect ORR’s staff and information.
