The House of Commons Recruitment Team manages approximately 800 campaigns each year and is responsible for the full life cycle of the recruitment process, including the onboarding of new joiners. We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional recruitment service and creating a positive candidate experience throughout.

Job description

We are looking for a Recruitment Marketing Manager to bring modern marketing strategies to our recruitment process, giving the House of Commons a competitive edge in finding and attracting quality candidates. You will work closely with the Recruitment Team to maximise attraction campaigns through researching and advising on suitable advertising and marketing channels.

The successful candidate will gather and analyse data from a variety of sources to ensure the success of recruitment campaigns and drive efficiencies. They will also be responsible for employer branding activities, producing engaging content for our website and social media accounts and building and managing relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the organisation.

Some of the responsibilities for this role include:

  •  Co-ordinate recruitment action plans with the Recruitment Team to attract and retain quality talent and support them by providing relevant market insights to create a competitive edge
  • Generate and analyse recruitment reports, including relevant internal and external data, on the perception of our brand and recruitment campaigns to improve processes, develop our indentity and improve our service offering
  • Manage and develop the careers website and social media platforms
  • Create copy for any marketing and promotional materials including the website, intranet, newsletters

Person specification

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Proven marketing ability preferably in a recruitment environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain good working relationships with a broad range of people at all levels
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to tell compelling and engaging stories
  • Strong analytical skills to measure performance of marketing and media channels, produce meaningful reports and adjust campaigns as required
