Job summary

The Quality Assurance (QA) Team is responsible for managing key elements of the UK Security Vetting (UKSV) Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) and monitoring its effectiveness, for example, through an annual audit agenda of scheduled and ad-hoc audits.

As a Quality Assurance Coordinator you will be completing a range of audits in line with the team schedule and will be required to liaise with Delivery department reps to support assurance outcomes. The audits ensure our vetting. 

Job description

  • Contribute to the successful delivery of the UKSV Quality Assurance Framework.
  • Undertake audits as per the schedule or on an ad-hoc basis where requested across all products.
  • Providing feedback and support to Case Workers/Line Managers/Quality Assurance reps within Delivery.
  • Management of your own casework after steer from QA management.
  • Identify and highlight trends with the view to partaking in conversations with Delivery to rectify issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the QA department.

Person specification

As a Quality Assurance Coordinator within UK Security Vetting, we are looking for people who have the following expertise and attributes:

  • Good computer skills (Google Suite).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to plan, manage, and prioritise own workload.
  • Attention to detail and discretion are essential.
  • Comfortable with change and flexibility to work different products as per QA requirements.
  • Good knowledge of vetting products and process.

Desirable:

  • Quality audit experience

Additional information:

A minimum 60% of your working time should be spent at your principal workplace. Although requirements to attend other locations for official business will also count towards this level of attendance.
