Job summary

This is a great opportunity to join the Property Asset Management Team, working across a geographically dispersed property portfolio, comprising 14 office locations housing circa 6,980 people across England and Wales.

As a member of the property function within the Facilities & Property Asset Management Team, part of the Finance & Business Services Directorate the role holder will lead on provision of data and analysis to support strategic property portfolio decision-making.

Providing support for the implementation of the HM Land Registry Workplace Strategy, you will assist in the management of the HM Land Registry’s property portfolio, including engagement with other government departments on occupancy agreements and financial arrangements.

In addition the successful candidate will maintain close and collaborative working relationships with key internal stakeholders and wider government stakeholders including the Government Property Agency.

Job description

The role involves developing and maintaining property portfolio data and providing analytical insight to support strategic decision making and for responses to internal and external requests for information. 

The role holder will develop robust quality assurance processes to ensure the integrity of the data, and will be required to interpret and present clear, concise property information and insight tailored for a wide range of audiences, including senior committees and wider government stakeholders.

The role will include leading on the design and development of dashboard reporting and metrics making effective use of technology to continually improve analytics.

You will use management information and analysis to undertake scenario modelling and benchmarking to maximise property effectiveness and efficiency.

You will lead, coach and mentor a small team responsible for providing support across all disciplines within Facilities & Property Asset Management.  Reviewing and adapting workflow processes to ensure effective prioritisation of work to meet stakeholder needs.

Person specification

To be successful in the role you will have experience of producing management information within a property profession discipline, with the ability to analyse, present and visualise data with a customer and business focus.

You will have a proven ability verbally and in writing to effectively translate complex property issues to non-expert audiences at a range of levels.

You will have experience in developing and delivering property strategy modelling techniques  as well as having experience of financial management and line management of a team.
