Job description

Who we need

We are looking for experienced digital project managers who have managed and delivered change. You will be experienced in digital delivery (for the Oracle project, you’ll need direct experience in Oracle Fusion EMSs) or in another digital discipline for our numerous opportunities.

For all of our projects, the ability to lead multiple projects, develop business cases and motivate teams is vital. We have a fascinatingly diverse range of stakeholders here, so you’ll also need to be comfortable influencing and communicating to deliver outstanding results.

You will pro-actively support safe working practices, appreciating the need for colleague welfare is the top priority for Dstl. You will take responsibility for working safely and report on any practices, no matter how big or small, to mitigate any potential risks.

Important Information

Our work in defence, security and intelligence requires our employees to be UK Nationals who are able to gain a high level of security clearance to undertake the projects we are involved in to protect us from security threats. For this reason, only UK Nationals will be able to apply for this role. This role will require full UK security clearance and you should have resided in the UK for the past 5 years. For some roles Developed Vetting will also be required, in this case you should have resided in the UK for the past 10 years.

Essential Experience

  • Project Manager 2, 3 & 4: APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) Or equivalent demonstrable experience of leading the delivery of Digital Projects/Programmes;
  • Contract Management Capability Programme (CMCP) – Foundation (CMCP) (or achieved within first three months);

Desirable experience:

  • APM Project Professional Qualification (PPQ);
  • APM Registered Project Professional;
  • ITIL
