Job summary

Working as part of the IT Directorate, the Enterprise Systems team ensures effective operation, administration and maintenance of RBG Kew’s business-related systems on a daily basis providing almost 365 cover. 

The role of Project Manager - Customer Experience Board would provide RBG Kew with Project support, delivering technology projects to a diverse and challenging customer base across Kew.  This will be achieved by managing multiple projects, working closely with the IT team and stakeholders who require services, new or old, to be delivered in a timely fashion.  The projects will include a range of criticality based on business change initiatives, supporting the delivery of Kew’s ambitious corporate and IT strategic goals.

Essential person specification criteria

  • Professional qualification in PRINCE2 (Practitioner) 
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Project 
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience

Person specification

  • Substantive experience of leading and managing delivery of technology-based projects involving multidisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholder groups in a collaborative manner  
  • Experience delivering IT infrastructure projects
  • Interest in and knowledge of technology trends
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with written and verbal communication
  • Ability to produce high-quality written documentation including proposals and status reports which demonstrate confidence in calculating costs and margins

     

    This role is based at Kew with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.
