Job description

You’ll be at the heart of worldwide delivery

A key figure within the delivery team, you’ll support a wide range of projects in the UK and overseas, from initial planning and coordination through to control and delivery. Whether it’s upgrades to existing systems or rollouts of new digital technology platforms you’ll see that we’re adhering to the high standards that our customers expect from us. You’ll support management information, reporting and communication too. The contribution you make will be invaluable. And the experience you gain could help you step up to a project management role with us in the future.

You know how to support people as well as projects

Your project delivery experience with projects and financials as well as your communication and organisation skills are all essential in this role. Prince 2 or equivalent Project Qualifications would also be desirable. You must be an outstanding team player with a customer and results-focused approach and strong problem-solving skills. A high level of IT literacy is important too and you must have a real eagerness to take your project management skills to the next level.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

Essential:

  • Experience of managing projects financials and processes
  • Numerical and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of programme and project processes
  • Motivated self-starter who can work without close supervision
  • Excellent communication & organisational skills
  • Experience of working with and influencing key stakeholders and senior management

 

Desirable:

  • PRINCE 2 or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of government or other large organisation
  • Experience of requisitioning via an ORACLE system
  • Experience of analysing data and providing recommendations for best course of action

Shortlisting will be conducted against the Job Specific Skills, Knowledge & Experience outlined in the Role Profile.

 

Interviews will be conducted using a mixture of Behaviours and Job Specific questions and a Job specific exercise.
