Job summary
The Finance team covers finance, procurement, business planning, business management, internal audit and financial governance. As a result of these activities and its position at the centre, the team works closely with all directorates within the ORR.Job description
ORR currently spends c£10 million per annum on the purchase of goods and services in all procurement categories. The purpose of the job is to manage the interaction between internal customers and potential third party suppliers and to ensure that ORR obtains best value for money in its procurements. This includes ensuring that ORR’s requirements are adequately articulated, chosen suppliers are fit for purpose and that ORR’s contractual position is maintained. In addition, it is vital that ORR abides by legal requirements, its internal policy and procedures and directions from of the Cabinet Office including its spend control requirements. This role is the most senior procurement role in ORR.Person specification
