Your experience will add valuable capacity to our existing skilled team which will further enable us to manufacture our high-quality printed circuits.  To enable this, we need to have our process lines’ chemistry and machinery set up perfectly. Your experience within PCM across the many aspects of the industry will ensure we are in the best possible place.

Job description

Using your diverse range of skills within the PCM team, you will,

  • Be part of a dynamic and diverse team that is well funded with the latest technology.

You’ll have the opportunity to get involved in the full process. You’ll use your skills and experience to create a wide range of designs and systems whilst working with a variety of customers and design engineers. You can be creative, working in your own way towards delivery. All we ask for in return is that you have a willingness to learn.

Using your diverse range of skills, you will:

  • Design, develop and document electronic systems to the highest standards.
  • Verify designs by creating and implementing verification tests and carrying out peer reviews.
  • Support products and investigate reported defects.
  • Contribute to project planning and meetings.

Person specification

To apply for this role, you will already have,

  • You will be fully aware of all CoSHH and Health and Safety issues connected to the PCM industry which will include the safe handling of chemistry which should include the:
  • Use of analytical techniques.
  • Preparation of standard solutions and serial dilutions

You will have an in-depth knowledge of one or more of:

  • Use of semi-automated vertical plating lines and supported processes.
  • Use of semi-automated horizontal process lines and supported processes.
  • The set-up and use of plasma desmear machines.
  • Multi-layer bonding processes.
  • Front end engineering and CNC set-up and operation.

To strengthen your application, it would be beneficial if you also have,

  • Experience of Microsoft Excel.
  • Waste management to include correct labelling, storage and collating.
  • Experience of stock control management.
  • Basic maintenance skills.
