About the job

Job summary

Ofgem works on behalf of energy consumers to ensure that every household and business in the UK can rely on a safe, affordable and environmentally sustainable energy supply. We are playing a vital part in accelerating the transition to Net Zero and a carbon neutral energy system - a goal that everyone wants to achieve. Whatever your role, you will be playing your part in creating new energy solutions that are great for customers, and great for the environment.

You will be part of the Digital Delivery Team as Principal PMO Lead and will embrace the full potential of digital and data in our work and support significant changes in the energy sector. We expect that you will already be working in a PMO function, which could be in any sector, but should be at principal level. You will be adept at using different programme/project management methods and be able to operate in both traditional and agile environments. It is likely that you hold a project management qualification, and you will need to have excellent communication and engagement skills – enabling you to present clear and relevant updates and dashboards to different audiences (including at a senior level). It is important that you can quickly build positive working relationships with different stakeholders to win trust and confidence and that you bring a proactive, structured and outcomes-focused approach to your work.

Ofgem is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We embrace diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
