The Asset Management team ensures that railway infrastructure managers across Great Britain are following asset management best practice; and that they are spending taxpayers’ money efficiently. This covers basic asset management activities such as maintenance and renewals, but also includes specialist activities such as decarbonisation, biodiversity and circular economy.Job description
To lead specific areas of our approach to holding Network Rail to account in CP7 for delivery of its capital investment programmes in-line with ORR objectives. This will inform our view on whether Network Rail is on target to deliver its obligations to train operators, passengers and funders. You will be responsible for managing a small team of people and engaging at a senior level, ensuring evidenced based decisions are taken in a timely manner.Person specification
