If you have knowledge and an understanding of formal project and programme management and governance, we would love to hear from you.

Job description

The Delivery, Planning and Performance team are responsible for understanding future demand and creating and maintaining mixed models of delivery to meet the needs of the business. They are responsible for allocating work to those mixed models of delivery, measuring the relative performance of each model and continuously driving through performance improvements. They control how in excess of £50m of investment is spent each year on the delivery of technology solutions.

This exciting opportunity will enable you to work closely with key stakeholders across the business to ensure the pipeline of work is up to date, ensuring there is capability and capacity available across the DDaT profession and contracts with suppliers are used effectively for supporting delivery. You will also work with the performance team to develop and maintain reporting to support effective delivery across the directorate.

Person specification

To meet the requirements of this role, you will have experience of successfully leading the delivery of change with significant business benefits and have demonstrable experience of influencing senior stakeholders to achieve delivery outcomes.

We are looking for a candidate that can use MI data for drafting reports and recommendations to inform decision making and hold delivery to account and has experience of high-level planning multiple streams of work in a pipeline across multiple areas of business to achieve successful delivery.

HMLR believe that a blended approach to where you work that enables some time working from home, as well as in the office may give you an improved experience and has clear business benefits. We expect everyone to spend at least 60% of their working time in the office. Beyond this expectation, there is no one size fits all approach (and we can spend up to 100% working in the office if we prefer).

Join us in this key role and be instrumental in driving value and effectiveness within our Transformation and Technology directorate.

For more information about the role, please see the attached candidate pack.

Benefits
