Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic team leader to provide Public and Non-Public Accounts management for a diverse RAF station which is committed to supporting operations.

The post is advertised at 37 hours per week.

Job description

You will report to the Station Commander through the Business Manager for all Public and Non-Public accounting issues and be a key advisor to the Chain of Command, Service Fund holders and Service Funds Audit board.

You will lead the Flight to deliver Public and Non-public account management and cashiering services.

Tasks can be time sensitive but also need detailed scrutiny.

The role is suited to someone who is highly organised, confident using IT and enjoys being part of a high performing team.

The post has Line Management responsibility for a total of 2 Administrative Officers.


Person specification

As OC Accounts you have responsibility for the effective management of the RAF Wittering Public and Non-public accounts on behalf of the Station Commander. We are looking for a committed individual to manage the Accounts Flight and provide assurances through the Business Manager in regards of Public Accounts Compliance, Service Funds Assurance, Independent Examiner and other organisations such as the National Audit Office.
