Job summary

We are looking for a creative, goal-driven Marketing & Communications Manager to join our team at an exciting time of transformation. This role will be pivotal in supporting the MarComms team to deliver proactive, goal-driven marketing and communications campaigns for Wakehurst that increase brand profile, develop digital and physical audiences and grow income.

With more of a lean toward communications, media relations and story-telling, you will also possess a solid understanding of the entire marketing mix and digital landscape. Specifically in this period, this role will be instrumental in delivering brand-profile growth for Wakehurst within the southeast region.

You will be a confident communicator able to react quickly whilst juggling multiple priorities and personalities.

Job description

A strong verbal and written communicator, you will have significant experience working in a MarComms role at management level and an aptitude for forward planning, being able to balance a strategic view with fast-paced, hands-on delivery. Adept at managing diverse agendas, you thrive working on complex projects with multiple stakeholders and bring a spirit of innovation to the team.

Person specification

The role may suit someone with experience working for a cause-led, cultural or visitor attraction. 

Interviews due to be held on 12th/13th February. 

This role is based at Wakehurst with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.
