Job summary

The pool of Event Assistants will provide a vital role in supporting the programme coordinators to set up and deliver exciting learning events for a range of audiences. This will include; preparing learning materials, setting up event spaces, meeting and greeting participants, hands-on workshop support for practical activities, working with volunteers, artists and facilitators, collating evaluation materials and office administration. 

Job description

Whilst keeping a practical event focused mind-set, and using initiative, the Events Assistant will support the programme coordinators of the Visitor Learning Team.

Person specification

With experience of community events and or informal education, learning and social studies, the successful candidate will be a team player who is able to interact and support diverse and hard to reach audiences effectively.
