Job summary

Defence Intelligence Training Group (DITG) is in the early phases of establishing a new Intelligence Support to Target and Effects (ISTE) training department to deliver newly designed courses.

The Target Systems Analysis (TSA) is the first of three courses that will sit under the ISTE training department. The TSA training team is part of a growing ISTE training department and will eventually consist of a mixture of 8 civilian and military trainers. This will enable DITG to deliver the full criteria of ISTE Training: TSA, Target Production & Documentation (TDP), and Target Audience Analysis (TAA) to Defence Intelligence community and its single Service counterparts. Furthermore, the ISTE training department will form the framework for the new Intelligence & ISR College under DITG’s future target operating model.

This TSA post is principally a training delivery post which will deliver the TSA training to the Intelligence Support to Target and Effects targeting community and it's single Service counterparts. The TSA training will be supported by an additional trainer, once recruited.

The job holder will also support the development and continuous improvement of TSA training to ensure the course meets current and future requirements.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.

Strategic Command is going through a significant transformation programme which aims to improve the way the Command conducts its business and delivers for Defence and the nation.
