Job summary

Working as part of the IT Directorate, the Enterprise Systems team ensures effective operation, administration and maintenance of RBG Kew’s business-related systems on a daily basis providing almost 365 cover. The Support Analyst provides day-to-day support to User Groups across Kew as well as playing an integral part in the support of the back-end systems that underpin all the organisation's IT needs.

Job description

 Accountabilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain system integrations across various IT Applications examples being Microsoft Dynamics F&O, Dynamics CE, Adobe Commerce (Magento), and visitor ticketing platforms using tools such as Azure Logic Apps, SSIS and other integration tools/languages.

- Engage with stakeholders, Project Managers and Senior Managers to capture requirements and convert them into effective technical specifications and integration solutions.

- Management of integration projects, from initial design through to deployment and ongoing maintenance, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT standards.

- Document all integration procedures and configurations to maintain high levels of transparency and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

- Implement and advocate for best practices in security, DevOps, and CI/CD within the integration landscape.

- Monitor and troubleshoot integrations, actively working to improve performance, reliability, and scalability. 

Person specification

Essential:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.

- Proven experience in developing and managing integrations using Azure Integration Services, SSIS, or similar platforms

 - Strong understanding of integration patterns, protocols, and standards (e.g., REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, etc.).

 - Experience with integrating ERP, CRM, HR, and Finance Systems.

- Certifications related to Integration platforms and languages.

 - Previous industry experience working in an Integration related role.

 - Demonstrable background in data architecture and data integration patterns. 

 

Interviews will take place in person at RBG Kew. 

Whilst this role is primarily based at Kew, it is a hybrid role where the successful candidate will be required to be on-site 5 days per week for an initial period of one month and thereafter 2/3 days per week or as the business and role requires.
