Job summary

The Human Resources Department provides HR services spanning the full range of people activities including payroll and pension administration, recruitment and onboarding, benefits, organisational development, L&D and HR business partnering.

We’re seeking a HR Support Assistant to join our HR Operations team. In this busy and varied role you'll support the administration of key HR processes spanning the employee life cycle, from recruitment and onboarding to leavers. Responsibilities include recruitment administration, co-ordinating and responding to HR enquiries, and processing DBS checks.

Job description

You’ll be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent with an interest in HR, and experience of working as part of a team in an administrative role. This role deals with a high volume of activity often against tight timescales. Consequently the role requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and a positive ‘can-do’ approach.

Person specification

Please note, the work pattern for this role will be three days per week, to include Thursday and Friday plus one other day (to be agreed). Candidates must therefore be available to work Thursdays and Fridays. 

This role is based at Kew with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.
