Job description

The Head of Strategic Communications and Engagement is a key leadership role in the Communications Directorate. They will lead our strategic communications function and deliver engagement activity with stakeholders across Great Britain and internationally. This activity will support the Commission's strategic plan and its ambition for everyone to have a fair chance in life.

The Head of Strategic Communications and Engagement is responsible for communications planning, insight and evaluation across all priority areas. They will work proactively with other directorates to provide expert advice and to identify opportunities to deliver regulatory impact through best-in-class communications campaigns. They will take an evidence-based approach and being expertise on audience insight and campaign evaluation to ensure a culture of continuous improvement.
