Job summary

The Geospatial Information Coordinator role is part of an ambitious team of geospatial experts who enable and deliver impactful research and analysis.

Job description

Playing a crucial part in supporting this wider function, the Geospatial Information Coordinator role will be focused on developing technical solutions and supporting spatial data infrastructure with the role holder working towards being a subject matter expert in the geospatial data life cycle.

 

Additionally, this role will play a leading role in implementing geospatial standards and best practices, particularly regarding automated workflows and data maintenance, whilst also contributing to team policy and documentation.

Person specification

You'll be capable of maintaining and expanding the core intelligence environment, helping deliver high-quality data management and workflow improvements to enhance system connectivity and accessibility.

 

You'll be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, working with stakeholders to procure additional intelligence sources, and becoming the technical expert for specific intelligence and geospatial products within the agency.

 

You'll have experience in fostering team collaboration and managing stakeholders inclusively, implementing appropriate standards and change management processes to ensure data and intelligence are easily interpreted and risks are managed.

 

We are seeking individuals with strong communication and technical geospatial skills, who are eager to leverage their expertise, identify innovative techniques and develop self-service tools to support collaboration and enhance services across Homes England.
