Job summary

Working in the Chief Operating Office team, the post holder will play a critical role in providing a high-quality support service to members of our Senior Leadership Team.  You will be joining a friendly and experienced team of corporate support professionals’; collaborative relationships will be established to share information and knowledge in a Community of Practice. 

Job description

You will be dedicated to delivering first-class support to our most senior leaders to deliver their roles in an organised way, demonstrating an ability to handle multiple priorities and apply excellent attention to detail in the work that you do. You  will act as the key point of contact and gatekeeper for the assigned Executive/Directors. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is required. 

 

You will be expected to work in an agile and flexible way supporting the mission-based approach of Homes England. This will involve working collaboratively and across teams/Directorates. 

Person specification

You will have previous administrative/secretarial experience supporting leaders to achieve business plan targets. You will demonstrate excellent organisation skills, an ability to work at pace and communicate well with both internal and external partners. 

 

Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn’t always easy. You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as an Agency. You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade.

 

As an experienced support professional, you’ll understand how to manage colleagues and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.
