This is a full time position, offering 37 hours per week.

Job description

The successful candidate will support RRU command and the clinical delivery team, the post holder will work directly to the Officer Commanding (OC) Bulford RRU and will line manage and continually develop the team of 2.5 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) RRU Administration (admin) Officers who deliver patient facing interactions, email, and telephone correspondence, booking of appointments and courses, proactive management of the appointment book and caseload, dealing with general enquiries and liaising with external agencies to facilitate the patient care pathway.

Person specification

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with the clinical leads to ensure that clinics and courses are managed effectively.
  • Monitoring all medical administrative procedures with RRU Bulford, liaising (DHRG) Defence Healthcare Recovery Group wide to ensure administrative procedures are co-ordinated and meet the needs of the patient care pathway.
  • Allocating staff to ensure the administration tasks are met across the RRU. Handling the staff leave allocation.
  • Liaising with Spire facilities to facilitate patient care for imaging and surgery through the Fast Track system, invoice management and reporting any failures to fulfil targets

There is no requirement to deploy as this is met by our uniformed personnel, but you will form the continuity of care required by our patients when based at home.
