The Asset Management team ensures that railway infrastructure managers across Great Britain are following asset management best practice; and that they are spending taxpayers’ money efficiently. This covers basic asset management activities such as maintenance and renewals, but also includes specialist activities such as decarbonisation, biodiversity and circular economy.

Job description

We currently have a vacancy in our Capital Investment, Engineering and Asset Management (CI,E&AM) team for an environmental specialist with experience of working in the field of environmental sustainability.

Reporting to the Principal Engineer this role will support our holding to account work particularly in the areas of carbon reduction, biodiversity, air quality and circular economy. You will use your own experience to evaluate stakeholder strategies and policies, monitor key performance indicators, lead engagement with stakeholders and assist in development of training of the wider ORR.
