Job summary

As the lead for Kew’s email marketing you will drive growth in customer engagement and loyalty through our email marketing programme to support ambitious income targets across ticket sales, membership, fundraising, ecommerce and other areas. You will also use email as a channel to engage customers in Kew’s vital mission and support our science, learning and community teams. 

Job description

You will own and deliver our marketing strategy and end-to-end email activity including automation programmes, transactional emails, newsletters, campaigns, segmentation and personalisation.

Person specification

You will have exceptional experience of creating and delivering email marketing strategies, ideally within a consumer environment. Your excellent data analysis skills and experience in using customer data to build segmented and personalised emails will be vital to this role. You will demonstrate experience in setting up and optimising automation programmes, campaigns, newsletters and other email activity to drive brand engagement and income.

Your data skills will be matched with a strong creative flair, with the ability to write engaging, accurate copy and commission inspiring design templates within brand guidelines.
