Job summary

The Editorial Manager – B2B sits within the Brand & Content team which sits as part of the global marketing directorate.

This is an exciting time to join the team as we revitalise our destination brand and transform the way we deliver the destination brand story to the international travel trade implementing our new global cross channel content strategy.

This role will be the expert in all things related to B2B content marketing best practice including data- led decisions, ensuring the right content is created for the right customers on the right channels, content is distributed to where customers are, responding to briefs from the broader Marketing team.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive content to deliver the Britain destination story to the international travel trade and work in partnership with the global B2B team, to plan, create, and manage high-quality, engaging content suitable for use across various platforms as well as manage the media centre content on the industry website.

Communication will be a key part of this role – it will be essential to build relationships with the

international market teams and broader global marketing team and a host of people at different levels in different organisations, occasionally having difficult conversations about TOV, brand and QA that does and doesn’t fit (and why).

You need to be very comfortable with handling and analysing data, as it’s vital that all our plans are based on data & insight, and be used to planning content in a busy, multichannel environment. Other key relationships will be with our creative, media, Digital and SEO agencies so that content can be developed in a collaborative way across channels.
