Job description

This is a really exciting opportunity to deliver critical Defence Infrastructure. In this role you will be accountable and responsible for delivering sophisticated Capital Infrastructure Delivery, with utmost focus on Performance, Cost & Time and proactively managing our supply chain to perform, ensuring delivery of both Life Cycle Replacement or Improvement outcomes. The position will operate within the Major Programmes and Projects (MPP) United Kingdom Strategic Command (UKSC) facing team.

We are currently operating a Hybrid working model with an expectation of at least 60% of your working time to be spent in the office or on a project site.

In your day-to-day role you will find yourself undertaking the following:
• Build and lead the team to deliver the agreed project outcomes.
• Supervise delivery of benefits against the business case and ensure appropriate approvals and      assurance plans are in place.
• Identify and set appropriate project controls, tracking and reporting delivery against milestones        and budgets.
• Schedule and run project resources
• Manage project partners and connect with them at all levels
• Identify and supervise project risks and issues and ensure effective change management                processes exist
• Provide key reports and support effective governance and decision making and control of                projects 
and their place in a programme and Portfolio
