Job description

What will the successful candidate be doing? 

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, forward-thinking individual to take on a rewarding role within the Recoverables Team at RAF Wyton. As part of a small fast-paced dedicated customer facing team the position of Occupancy Support Officer is an essential part of supporting the Regional Delivery Accommodation as a whole. This is a demanding post that consists of processing and managing payment of utility billing for the Service Family Accommodation. With brand new processes in place and an internal change of our platforms this is a good opportunity for a dynamic forward-thinking individual to be involved in and taking ownership of new processes. 
This is a key role in the delivery of utility billing which includes accuracy of information along with processing and payment of bills. This requires consistently liaising with customers and suppliers and acting upon any issues and escalating any concerns to further management when required. You will be responsible for working to agrees timescales and able to work independently. Where you will be able to undertake associated administration tasks as instructed by the Line Manager along with details required appropriate to the grade. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with management of priorities, being able to problem solve along with good written and written communication skills are needed with in this role.

• Responsible for the management of all new and existing accounts, ensuring all accounts are properly maintained
• Processing daily incoming post that requires efficient organisation and a well-kept rotational system. 
• Recording data and updating spreadsheets and various IT systems 
• Assessing and actioning relevant bills to ensure all payments are up to date per property.
• Producing monthly accruals per supplier whilst maintaining all billings per pay period for each property
• Check and action team multiuser email account on a daily basis
• Archive all closed files in line with GDPR  
• Responsible for liaising with suppliers and customers on a regular basis ensuring information is given correctly and any advice that is required. 
• Investigate and resolve queries received from customers and suppliers escalate to management if required. 
• Maintain issues log to keep up to date with outstanding issues and raised disputes. 
• Carry out regular checks of files and archive in accordance with the departments processes. 
• Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure expectations are met in a timely manner. 
• Other tasks deemed appropriate for the grade
