Job description

Working within the Finance Operations – Hard Facilities Management team, this role reports into the Finance Manager for the Regional Delivery (RD) Area.
In this finance support role, you will be responsible for the day to day management of invoices, reconciliation of ledger balances, and analysis & approval of spend. You will be involved in the production of the monthly forecast and yearly annual planning cycle, as well as ensuring audit trails exist to support the accruals and creditors journals that you will produce. In addition to being comfortable working with numbers you will require good communication skills as you will be in frequent contact with the business area that you are supporting. You will be required to use Excel and Oracle-E Business Suite as well as the Infrastructure Management System (IMS) and Contracting, Procurement & Finance System (CP&F).

• Assist in the budget / financial management; In-Year and Long -Term Planning (ABC)
• Preparation of journals for month end
• Preparation of support to quarterly Balance Sheet and Audit
• Responsible for providing scrutiny & policy advice to the business
• Reviewing of Business Cases from Regional Delivery
• Advising on VAT treatment and other Financial Governance
• Personal management of your work and your training

Desirable Experience & Skills

Microsoft Excel knowledge
