Job summary

Do you have the ability to turn numbers in to engaging, actionable, stories?

Do you want to use these skills to make a real difference to people’s lives?

As Digital Performance Analyst we work with a variety of other professions in DWP to understand the problems that face the users of our digital services. We get teams to think about how we can measure the difference our products make. We use performance frameworks to support teams to develop and discuss meaningful KPIs ensuring they have the data they need to make decisions.

Every day is different, on any day you might be building relationships with teams, developing data collection plans, solving complex problems, or doing analysis on service iterations. We pull together a variety of data to show how digital services are adding value and meeting the Government’s Digital by Default Service Standard.

These are key roles that will deliver accurate and actionable insights to a variety of stakeholders, to drive the focus and centralise the user in everything that we do.

Job description

The successful candidates for these roles will be working in our Identity and Trust team and within Retirement Services. These teams are in the middle of some exciting projects all aimed at helping citizens to prove their identity and access the Government services and support they need.

You will be expected to:

Understand the needs of the service users and how the service is going to measure if they’ve been met.

Nurture relationships with multidisciplinary agile teams promoting analysis and driving continual iterative improvements through evidence based decision making.

Take a supporting role in the development of the performance frameworks and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the service, build dashboards and provide in depth reports to communicate key metrics.

Work with web analysis tools to gather data and provide insight on citizen user journeys.

Provide guidance on data collection from multiple sources to measure a service.

Unlock understanding beyond the digital journey about the impact of the end-to-end service on the citizen.

Deliver high-quality analysis and performance reporting that provides meaningful and actionable insights to improve the service, proactively offering suggestions of ways to improve the service.
