About the role

You will be a visible and engaging leader of the 3 expert casework teams (complaints, correspondence, and litigation) within the User Investigations Team. You will be responsible for all aspects of team management; a requirement to deal with a wide range of management and resourcing issues which includes specifying standards for service delivery; identifying service improvements; planning and allocating work in the short, medium term with an awareness of longer-term service requirements. You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting casework performance; liaising with senior leaders throughout Operations HQ Directorate and across HMCTS/MoJ to address issues, identify trends and provide regular and ad hoc reports/briefing as required. You will play a key role in protecting the reputation of HMCTS. You will support and deputise for the Head of User Investigations Team when decisions, recommendations or actions may have a critical impact on organisational effectiveness and the reputation of HMCTS.
