Job summary

The Delivery Support team provides professional administrative support to Programme Leaders within the divisional structure. As a Delivery Support Assistant you will have chance to build your skills by taking on a variety of responsibilities. You’ll be working with contacts from across Dstl, this means you need good people and customer service skills as well as a gift for teamwork. We’re also looking for the ability to meet deadlines and get the job done right first time, along with organisational skills and a readiness to learn.

Job description

In this role you will:-
- Act as Point of contact to MoD staff outer offices, seconded team members and Gateways.
- Support and facilitate highly effective stakeholder meetings and Minutes or actions taken where needed. 
- Support to evidence based decision making through the collation and provision of timely and accurate business information.
• Provide professional support to increase the productivity of the Division;
- Organisation of UK & International Travel.
- Maintain awareness of relevant briefings, changes to procedures and policies that may impact the Division and BSS.
• Support the continued administrative capability in order to maintain and enhance the reputation of Business Support Services (BSS);
- Adhere to the BSS principles to demonstrate resilience within the capability as well as across the wider community.
- Ensure that levels of service are maintained during periods of absence.
• Act as a point of contact for the Division communications, ensuring the appropriate message is communicated to the right audience within a controlled manner;
• Providing continuity of business support across the Divisions to maintain business performance.
• Provide professional administrative support services that enhance and maintain the reputation of Operations (positive representation and reflect Operations’ contribution to the business)

Person specification

We are looking for someone who has:
A range of experience, skills and backgrounds. You might have experience working in administration and/or business support or providing support to small or large businesses. If you have the skills below we want to speak to you
