Job description

You will work within the DES Delivery Control Performance service provision; utilising risk and control intelligence to enhance and embed risk management activities, highlight inconsistent application of the Risk Management Framework, and support continuous improvement across the three delivery directorates of Development, Investments and MPP. 

 

Working closely with Delivery Control Frameworks, you’ll support with translating complex risk and control anomalies into practical control environment solutions which enable Chief Officers and SROs to meet their risk management and assurance obligations, whilst promoting effective delivery.

 

Supporting the Agency's first line of defence, you’ll work collaboratively with key stakeholders at a senior level across the three delivery directorates to develop, update and maintain risk documentation, create risk profile Management Information and facilitate regular risk-focussed fora.

Person specification

Whilst your day job is to deliver first class delivery enabling service provision to Development, Investment and MPP directorates, you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate.

 

You will be part of the DES function and responsible for contributing towards the provision of the Delivery Control Performance service to the delivery directorates - growing and embedding the service offering, making improvements where necessary to reflect user feedback and changing circumstances, and working in collaboration with colleagues in DES and across the wider Agency.

You will be comfortable supporting with complex issues and developing insight and reporting from technical management information; framed by strong risk, control, project management and governance expertise.
