Job description

Change and Incident Management tool (Remedy application) support including production, testing and development databases. Maintain the performance and availability of production services for ITMS and support the Team Lead in ensuring that these meets or exceed their prescribed senior leadership actions. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the technical development of the change and incident management tool. 
  • Capture and assess new user requirements and complete Impact Assessments [IAs] of all changes and incidents related change request [CR] proposals.
  • Develop, prepare for testing and implement solutions to CRs. 
  • Provide prototype demonstrations and lead workshops to manage the implementation of approved customer change proposals. 
  • Work alongside & coordinate with the DBS Live Services team and provide knowledge transfer to the existing DBS Live Service team as required.
  • Deliver & manage work packages around new configurations across ITSM Suite from the product owner. 
  • Manage Production, Development and UAT environments. 
  • Manage the support for and have configuration knowledge of application integrations e.g. Kofax; CHIPS; HRMS; DBS Casework. 
  • Able to manage task and issues around Smart reporting, Digital Work Place, Smart IT and Mid-Tier. 
  • Continuous daily management of the change and incident management tool from resolving live issues in order to minimise impact to recording and logging problems as well as solutions across team functionality.
