This role requires you to have lived in the UK for the last 5 years and obtain Security Check (SC) security clearance. Clearance must be obtained without any caveats that prevent you from carrying out the role you have been recruited for. Job description

As the Infrastructure Management Coordinator, you will provide complete support in all aspects of infrastructure management on the Gosport site. You will provide appropriate infrastructure advice and guidance across the business and engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders to relay key messages and plan events.

Working as part of a close-knit 4 persons Infrastructure Management Team, you will be the focal point for all infrastructure enquiries, the “go to” person for when both contractor and building manager problems arise.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise routine repairs to the helpdesk.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation including policy, processes, instructions and guidance
  • Produce Infrastructure briefing packs and communications e.g. F2F newsletter articles and Building Manager advice bulletins.
  • Plan Infrastructure works including both soft and hard FM task, liaising with key staff and contractors to ensure works meet key requirements
  • Manage reactive maintenance in conjunction with the Regional Prime Contractor (RPC) Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) Estate Facility Manager and DM Gosport Building Managers
  • Engage with external and internal stakeholders (e.g., site staff, contractors, external agencies) in a wide range of real estate scenarios.
  • Support Infrastructure projects ensuring estate improvements and changes are effectively implemented.
  • Support the day-to-day maintenance requests and issues proactively managing any problems and escalating where appropriate.

Person specification

To be successful with your application, you'll need to show that you meet the following essential criteria:

  • Excellent written and verbal communicator.
  • Experience in infrastructure/facilities management
