Job summary

We are recruiting for the role of Customer Services and Facilities Officer.  This is an office based role, working 5 days a week from the office in Central London.

Job description

As a Customer Services and Facilities Officer you will contribute to providing a professional National Office reception service that portrays a welcoming and positive image to visiting children and families, staff and other visitors.

Should you join us your tasks will include:

  • To provide a professional and efficient reception service for visitors and staff.
  • To provide effective administrative support to the National Office function, managing all front of house reception duties, telephone and e-mail queries, data entry and other general administrative support.
  • To be responsible for supporting arrangements for all meetings.
  • To support the management of the office facilities.

Person specification

A key role in helping to ensure the smooth running of our services, here are some things we look for in suitable candidates:

 A relevant qualification in business administration (e.g. NVQ2), a willingness to work towards to a qualification and/or significant experience in a similar role

  • Confident and capable of using MS Office applications to a basic / intermediate level
  • Clear, confident communicator via email, phone and in person
  • Someone who thrives working in a team
  • Able to prioritise work in a fast-moving environment with strict deadlines
