Here at HMS Neptune, HM Naval Base Clyde, Faslane we have a CMP Fixed Term Appointment that will end 28/02/2025. The post is full time offering 37 hour per week. Requests to work flexibly and/or part time will be considered, taking into account business needs. Please note the salary will be pro-rata where part time hours are undertaken.

Job description

The successful candidate will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team within the Practice to provide primary and occupational healthcare in line with General Medical Council (GMC) Standards to ensure that the organisational and Principal Medical Officer (PMO) objectives are achieved to optimise patient care.

Person specification

Duties and responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Providing general healthcare to all registered patients during normal practice hours.
  • Maximising the levels of health, wellbeing and employability of Service personnel to ensure the needs of the single Services are met.
  • Undertaking mandatory medical examinations and providing appropriate occupational healthcare and advice, and all supporting administrative duties.
  • Providing primary care emergency treatment to any patient who may require this within the Establishment.
