The Role
We’re recruiting for a Business Support Manager here at Justice Digital, to be part of our warm and collaborative Service Operations team.
We seek a highly motivated and organised person to join our Service Operations Management Team.
As Business Support Manager, you will provide administrative assistance to the Department Head, including but not limited to Diary and inbox management, submissions of Business Cases and preparation for attendance at meetings (internal and external).
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to build and maintain effective relationships with various internal and external stakeholders will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Service Operations by managing their workload and priorities through comprehensive, prioritised diary management.
- Preparing travel arrangements, accommodation and preparation for attendance at external events, including their potential visits to other office locations, external meetings or engagements.
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of new starters and maintain the process for any leavers and movers.
- Collect, collate and monitor actions and other general commissions emerging from meetings.
- Support central requests for information, including Freedom of Information (FOI) and Parliamentary Questions.
- Deliver ad hoc projects to improve operations and the efficiency of the team.
- Maintain processes, systems and information/records.
- Build and maintain a strong network across the function and the department.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and assigned suppliers to drive business outcomes.
- Manage the teams’ Security clearances as one of the National Security Vetting Contacts (NSVC).
- Support the Technology Services Business Manager in key projects to improve the operations and efficiency of the Technology Services department.
- Support the department by maintaining people data, learning and development records, email distribution lists and other ad hoc tasks.
- Organise training courses for the wider team
- Delivering ad hoc projects as required to continue to improve the efficiency of the Operations function

Person Specification
Essential
- Prior experience in a support or administrative role at a senior level; for example Executive Assistant, Senior PA, Office Manager.
- Can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Enjoys working with a range of key stakeholders and building effective working relationships both inside and outside of the organisation.
- Is highly organised and self-motivated
- Is IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Diary management in a busy, pressured and complex environment
Willingness to be assessed against the requirements for [SC] clearance
