About the job

Job summary

This is an exciting time for the Technology Department as it implements its new strategy that will transform how the organisation works, including its cloud and security strategies as well as replacing some of the enterprise systems that are currently in use.

This role reports directly o the CIO Office and supports achievement of the technology strategy and roadmap that will enable the British Tourist Authority to migrate to the cloud and maximise its use of technology.

You will play an important role in developing and facilitating relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and with technology colleagues to understand technology needs and formulate plans.  You will be integral to project delivery, identifying mechanisms to support the adoption of solutions when they are in place.

The role will develop communications between technology and the rest of the organisation, ensuring stakeholders are aware of forthcoming changes and driving adoption of solutions.

You will contribute to the continuous improvement of business applications ensuring that end user requirements are captured and factored into developments.
