Job description

As the Business Change Manager you will be working as part of the ST&R team, to deliver improved business outcomes as a result of the introduction of changed ways of working. Providing support to managers and staff in the business as the change is implemented. Stakeholder engagement throughout the change cycle, ensuring that all changes are successfully embedded. Managing the successful transition of business change as part of the spending reviews.

Your duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Key stakeholder engagement with HR, Health and Safety and TUS representatives to deliver optimum solutions for the staff impacted by the change.
  • Manage and facilitate monthly stakeholder engagement to update those impacted by the changes being introduced.
  • Work in partnership with key stakeholders to identify issues that need to be addressed to ensure successful delivery of change.
  • Coach managers to lead and manage the change agenda by improving the people capabilities of their teams.
  • Identify risks and issues and highlight any impact on the business.
  • Develop a communications plan and maintain regular communications with corporate communications to ensure a consistent message is delivered to the business on estates rationalisation.

Person specification

To be successful as the Business Change Manager, you will have:

  • Experience of contributing to and implementing change management plans and applying change management methodology.
  • Experience of successfully managing the impact of change on people.
  • Experience of contributing to the change plan for a project which impacted on multiple disciplined teams.
  • Experience of working with Stakeholders to gain agreement/acceptance and have the ability to recognise resistance to a significant change.
  • Experience of developing internal communications.
  • Understanding of benefits identification and realisation.

Additional Information 

Please take note that DVSA does not hold a UK Visa & Immigration (UKVI) Skilled Worker License sponsor and are unable to sponsor any individuals for Skilled Worker Sponsorship.

There will be a requirement for travel across the UK visiting DVSA sites, which will include overnight stays. 

Whilst we accept applicants from part time candidates, there will be a minimum of 22.2 hours per week.
