We are looking for a Business Change Analyst to join our Business Improvement and Change (BIC) team in the Clerk of Parliament Office at the House of Lords on an 18 month fixed term contract. This is an exciting position where you will be focusing on providing business change analysis to a range of projects in the House of Lords Administration.

This is an opportunity to work hybrid with a minimum of 2 days a week onsite at Parliament (London).

This is an opportunity for someone with experience of applying business change analysis skills to investigate, articulate and improve processes.

  • Work closely with and provide support to BIC team members on projects.
  • Lead process mapping workshops, creation, and maintenance of process maps, identifying process improvements and value chains.
  • Create and update project documentation and draft reports.
  • Support the development of data and trend analysis of management information to help our leaders and managers make informed decisions.
  • Analyse qualitative and quantitative data, generating insights and make recommendations. Create and maintain dashboards to identify the key stories from data analysis.

What we’re looking for

  • APM Project Management qualification and / or Change Management Practitioner qualification.
  • Ability to identify business needs and defining requirements clearly.
  • Experience and understanding of change management and how it can be used to improve service delivery.
  • Good attention to detail, good organisational skills.
  • Experience of working with data to identify patterns, trends, anomalies, and highlights.
  • Ability to present findings from data in a concise, engaging, and audience-appropriate way.
  • A strong communicator with a logical mind-set and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work with people at all levels of the organisation and across all teams.
