Job description

In the position of Associate Business Change Manager you will:

  • Lead on business change activity and work with the project to support delivery of the business case benefits and outcomes.
  • Champion the use of best practice and provide expert advice for team members and project community.
  • Assess and understand the impact on stakeholders to improve the likelihood of their adoption of the change.
  • Support the Project Manager in preparing and updating the change management elements of the business case.
  • Provide input into creation of required Business Change products.
  • Supports the engagement of relevant business/end users during this process.
  • Seek out and forge meaningful working relationships with colleagues to support implementation of change projects.

Person specification

We are seeking an Associate Business Change Manager who is confident, resilient and focused; someone who brings a robust understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools. In this role, you will leverage your recent practical experience to apply these methodologies and techniques to both business and people change within our organisation. 

To thrive in this role you will have excellent active listening skills and a proven ability to articulate messages clearly to diverse audiences. Familiarity with project management approaches, especially Agile delivery, and excellent written communication skills will further enable you to thrive in our dynamic environment. 

Additional Information 

A minimum of 60% of your working time should be spent at your principal workplace, although requirements to attend other locations for official business, or carry out detached duty in another DfT workplace, will also count towards this level of attendance.

This post is offered on a Fixed Term Appointment (FTA) basis to complete a finite piece of work. However, there could be potential of permanency.
